The Bible is the most authoritative source for faith and practice, but Presbyterians are also guided by the creeds and confessions of the church.
There are two sacraments which were instituted by Christ: the Sacrament of Baptism and the Sacrament of Communion. Baptism is a symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. The Lord's Supper is a time to renew faith and strengthen participants for the duties and privileges of Christian service. |
